Tender family pictures in Florence: quality time that turns into memories!
What happens when two photographers want to have family pictures taken? The same thing that always happens: they get ready for the photo shooting and enjoy the result of it!
Today I want to tell you the story of Morgan and Amir, while giving you some suggestions on how to prepare for your family pictures…
Morgan and Amir’s family pictures in Florence
Morgan and Amir are two highly valued professional photographers based in Houston, Texas. After their destination wedding at the majestic Castello di Meleto, in Chianti, they thought of grasping the opportunity to have some family pictures taken too.
They took their cute son to Florence, where we met for the photo shooting. They chose perfectly matching outfits in the colors of Autumn and the Panoramic Love Route as main setting.
We went up to San Miniato al Monte, to shoot some photos in front of a breathtaking view of the city, then we moved to the historic center, walking to Piazza Santa Croce in order to take some family pictures surrounded by the typical architecture of Florence.
There was also time for an ice-cream stop, which was the perfect excuse for more fun and tender photos of the three of them. The family photo shooting is a great way to share some quality time together, while creating memories to save forever… and Morgan and Amir’s shooting is a perfect example of this!
How to get ready for your family pictures
What should you do, if you also want to seize the moment having lovely family pictures taken?
First of all, you should select a location you like: if you’re in Florence or Tuscany, you will find plenty of amazing places that can host your family photo shooting.

After that, decide a color palette and pick outfits that go together for the whole family… and lastly, enjoy your photo shooting!
