What should you do when you’re visiting a city you love, with the person you love? I think that you should celebrate – and that’s what Andrea and CJ thought too. They decided to eternalize that moment with a couple photoshoot in Florence, one of the most romantic places in Italy.

Andrea and CJ’s photoshoot in Florence
This incredibly nice couple from Boston was enjoying a trip around Europe at the beginning of September. Before Italy they went to Porto, in Portugal, and then they got to Florence. They had already been there both alone – CJ studied there – and together – not long before the pandemic hit: they truly love the city, especially its cathedral and the Arno river.
So this time, instead of taking photos of the holiday only with their smartphones, they decided to gift themselves with a professional photoshoot in Florence. A smart choice, because selfies can’t stand comparison with couple portrait photos taken by an expert.
Moreover, September is probably the best month for an outdoor photo session: the weather is still pleasantly sunny but not too hot, and sunset – which provides the best lighting conditions – doesn’t overlap with dinner time.
These were the premises of Andrea and CJ’s photoshoot in Florence… and soon you will see the outcome.
Couple portrait photos: the best holiday memory
Exploring Florence with a photographer by your side is a completely different experience. First of all, because he (me, in this case) knows the city by heart and will take you to the most iconic and picturesque spots. Secondly, because you will save a very special memory of that photoshoot in Florence, thanks to the dreamy images – that you can collect in an album or print and hang to your home’s walls.
Andrea and CJ’s shooting started from San Miniato al Monte, a place that offers the most incredible view over Florence. From up there you can see the whole city, and the cathedral too! After that, we reached the heart of the town where we took some lovely couple portrait photos along the river Arno, near the famous Ponte Vecchio and by the charming Uffizi Gallery. They will surely remember this journey forever, thanks to their precious photoshoot.
