We met in a desert Florence on a very early August morning, and fully enjoyed its charm while taking sunrise photos in its most scenic spots. Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and Piazzale Michelangelo: the soon-to-be bride and groom were free to express their feelings all over the city, away from prying eyes, cherishing every second of the session. And, equally important, they got to use the sunrise photos to create personalized wedding invitations!
Liza and Justin’s intimate wedding at Belmond Villa San Michele
When their special day arrived, it was very easy for Liza and Justin to feel natural in front of the camera. As a result, the photos of their intimate wedding in Italy are spontaneous and depict all the shades of its atmosphere.
From the positive tension the couple experienced while getting ready, to the heartfelt moments of the ceremony held in the church of San Barnaba. From the dreamy portraits as newlyweds that we took in the center of Florence, to the reception with their closest friends and family members at the incredible Belmond Villa San Michele.
This boutique hotel, a former monastery built in the Renaissance, is the most exquisite location you could dream of. Not to mention the terraced gardens and lush trees that surround it and lead your eyes to a view of Florence that will leave you speechless.
Belmond Villa San Michele was the place Liza and Justin chose as a setting for the party with their guests after the intimate wedding ceremony. A delicious dinner around a gracefully decorated table, emotional speeches and first dance, and a joyful cake cut completed the unforgettable day.
