Ceremony Venue: Bei Tomschy | Wedding Venue: Hotel Kitzhof | Flower designer by: Andreas Bamesberger Zweigstelle Vienna | Bride Dress by: Elie Saab Couture | Groom Dress by: Kiton | Bridal Shoes by: Valentino
Dear friends, it is a really great pleasure that I present to you one of the most exciting adventures I’ve had the pleasure of living with my new dear friends Linda and Claus at their special and elegant marriage, celebrated in Austria on top of the Hahnenkamm mountain ski resort Kitzbühel. It was the first time I visited this popular city and I look forward to return back soon to celebrate a new marriage, maybe during winter season this time!
So along with trusted co-worker and friend Alessandro Taddeini photographer, whom I thank for helping me to tell this exciting story, we left our Tuscany for the delicious Austrian town with a day in advance to made some site inspections of the ceremony locations at the top of the Hahnenkamm mountain with offers a very spectacular views of the Alps. Then we decided to go to Hotel Kitzhof , in the of Kitzbühel, just to have a look of the spaces dedicated to the wedding reception.
The next day I and Alessandro start the “big” day in the early morning for Linda’s getting ready which has been to parent’s private and luxury house which I decided to not show here for privacy reason. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed and I quietly begin to photograph bride accessories starting from the magnificent wedding dress made by Elie Saab Couture and shoes made by Valentino . Then my mind goes to the imposing mountain so I quickly decide to bring the shoes outside for some shots with the wedding venue as backdrop. Very characteristic also the colorful chic country bridal bouquet made by the flower designer Andreas Bamesberger Zweigstelle Vienna . After the getting ready we went directly to the cable car toward the ceremony venue at the top of the mountain.
Meanwhile the weather, not particularly favorable to that point, suddenly improve and allow the sun to bright more the civil celebration and make everyone happy, including us. Our first international destination wedding could not be celebrated in the rain! By the way the temperature was perfect and the view of the Mountains was exciting as well as the groom Claus during the “first look” of his beloved future wife that slowly join him amiably greeted by friends and relatives, and accompanied by her father. A little further on, a memorable moment happened in front of me when the Linda’s dad embrace Claus at the end of the aisle.
After the usual short but emotional outdoor civil ceremony we had the brunch at Bei Tomschy restaurant.
All the bride and groom portraits was taken into the nearby and beautiful spots with the magnificent landscape view of the Alps before to take back the cable car again and come back to Hotel Kitzhof for the rest of the wedding day. elegant evening reception. Following the usual speeches and after the final party with dances and fireworks in the hotel grounds unfortunately conditioned by heavy rain but that did not in any way spoil this beautiful day.
Here there are some of the best images of the day, please enjoy and have fun!
