When an important family milestone approaches, you have two choices: celebrating it with an average party or with beautiful family photos outdoors in a breathtaking location.
Madeleine opted for the latter as a way to honor her father’s 65th birthday together with the most important people of their life. The chosen setting was Prato di Vignamaggio, an astonishing place nestled among the hills of Tuscany.
Armstrong family’s photos outdoors: a unique celebration
The Armstrong family – parents, brother, sister, aunt, uncle and cousin – traveled from California to Tuscany for dad’s 65th birthday, together with Madeleine’s best friend.
She wanted to surprise her father with a special present, and she thought that family photos outdoors were the best thing she could gift him. In fact, she was right: the whole group had the chance to spend some quality time together, and they will have beautiful images of that moment to treasure forever.
They all expected to pose in a traditional way, but the session turned out to be fun, sweet and playful. I like to create a situation where my subjects can interact with each other: they have to enjoy the photoshoot, first of all, so that the pictures turn out to be genuine and full of life.
