Mare and Mark are an American couple who came to Florence to enjoy a holiday with their two children and a very dear friend. They didn’t want to bring back with them just the usual souvenir: they preferred something exclusive and tailored for them. A photoshoot felt like the best choice, and that’s why they contacted me to be their family photographer.
Their wish was to have family pictures taken not simply in Florence, but in Florence – with a view. As a professional who knows his territory by heart, I knew immediately where to head: San Miniato al Monte, a spot that offers one of the best panoramas in town. The church of San Miniato itself is beautiful and picturesque, but the highlight is the view over the whole city: a breathtaking background that any family photographer would love.
