Lauren and Alex’s engagement session photos at sunrise
Lauren and Alex were definitely ready to wake up before the sun did: they decided to have their engagement photo session at sunrise! Where? In Florence, one of the most iconic and charming cities in Italy.
They came all the way from Michigan to our beautiful country for a romantic holiday, and they decided to stop in the “Cradle of the Renaissance” to take sunrise engagement photos. The trip and early wakeup call were totally worth it!
These two very nice and genuine fiancés enjoyed every second of their 3-hours prewedding shooting around the city. They could show their love to one another without worrying about other people watching: Florence at sunrise is extremely quiet – in fact, that’s the best time of the day if you want to have it all to yourself.
Lauren and Alex’s engagement session photos were taken in the historic heart of town and at the viewpoints of Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte. Every set was breathtaking in its own way: the first one because the color of Lauren’s dress matched perfectly with the fascinating architecture, the latter because of the incredible view that framed the photos.
Sunrise engagement photos: so dreamy!
The early birds know it: the light at sunrise is gorgeous. The sky is pale pink, the atmosphere is misty, the light is suffused – bright enough to take amazing photos of your engagement session, but also soft enough to caress you tenderly.
A shooting at sunrise, in a popular place like Florence, has another positive side that we have already mentioned before. No one will be around: you will have the whole city at your feet… and this will turn into pictures that are even more intimate and emotional.
