What could be more fitting than Italy, when you think of destination weddings? Delicious food, amazing wine, historic locations, cultural and artistic treasures, breathtaking natural views and warm atmosphere… Italy offers you anything you could possibly need on your most important day!
If you want to narrow it down even further, then you should focus on Tuscany: it’s the perfect summary of all the most typical and appreciated Italian features.
You will fall in love with the green hills of Valdarno and Chianti valleys, covered in meadows, vineyards and olive groves. You will be amazed by the ancient Romanesque churches that you will find in the middle of nowhere. Your mouth will water when you taste the flavor of the incredible local food and rich wines.

Justina and Jan’s unique destination wedding
This lovely Lithuanian-Polish couple was dreaming of the classic Italian celebration – and all of their wishes came true in Valdarno, Tuscany!
The heavenly religious ritual took place at Pieve di Gropina, a neat Romanesque church embellished by minimal and elegant decorations made of white flowers and candle lights.
After the ceremony, I had the chance of turning some of their desires into reality thanks to a charming wedding photo shoot in the countryside. The red vintage convertible, the beauty of the newlyweds, the enchanting landscapes and the golden sunset light created a perfect atmosphere.
The last part of the celebrations took place at the chic Montelucci Country Resort, where the newlyweds triumphantly arrived after the shooting. In the wonderfully decorated garden, all the guests had speeches to share their thoughts and feelings about that special occasion: there were smiles, tears and kisses. There were dances, there were hugs, there were sparkles: there was everything they could ask for, on their wedding day.
