Create unique wedding invitations with an engagement photo shoot at sunrise!
If you’re wondering how you can make your wedding invitations really unique, the answer is very simple: with an engagement photo shoot at sunrise… and if the set is a magical city like Florence it gets even better!
This was the original idea of Andrea and Ye, who asked me to comply this wish and turn it into reality.
Andrea and Ye’s engagement photo shoot
This cute couple from Long Island, New York, was having a romantic holiday in Italy. Coming from the city that never sleeps, they probably thought something like: “Why should we sleep in such a magical place like Florence?”.
That’s likely to be one of the reasons behind their idea to take sunrise photos and use them for exclusive wedding invitations. So we had a long and relaxed prewedding shooting session when the streets were still empty and illuminated by a pale light.
The starting point was Piazza della Signoria, completely tourist-free – which is something that only happens at sunrise! This allowed us to take intimate and sentimental photos, where Andrea and Ye could openly show their love for each other. Then we walked through three of the best engagement photo shoot routes in Florence: they had the chance to live the city at its fullest, filling it with emotion and tenderness. The last stops of the shooting were Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte. From up there, you can see the best view of Florence: can you imagine how enchanting it is right after the sun rises up in the sky?
Andrea and Ye were so happy and mesmerised that they started dancing more than once… and I couldn’t help but capturing those sweet moments!
How an engagement photo shoot can turn into special wedding invitations
For most people, planning a wedding involves a challenge between being original and romantic… you want your friends and family to remember your special day so it needs to be unique, but you also want it to be emotional.
The wedding invitations sum up the whole spirit of the celebration, so they equally need to be original and romantic… but how?!
Well, you could definitely be inspired by Andrea and Ye’s engagement photo shoot in Florence at sunrise. It’s absolutely lovely and unique – and it will give you the perfect photos to print and send out as wonderful wedding invitations!
