This elegant couple from the United States was in love with Florence: they knew that they wanted their wedding pictures to be taken around the most romantic and iconic spots of the city.
After deciding the destination for their small wedding, they chose a very special venue where to celebrate it: the exclusive St. Regis in Florence – specifically, the majestic Salone delle Feste.
The decorations of the hall couldn’t have been more refined and dreamy, thanks to the touch of Floralia flower designer and JD Events, coordinated by LeSharon Escudero as a wedding planner.
We took a few photos of the bride while she was getting ready, then dived into the short but touching nuptial ceremony. The reception of this lovely destination wedding was also small, but absolutely sweet: the cake cutting, a tasting of traditional Italian ice-cream and a few adorable group photos… then we were ready to go!

The shooting continued inside the stunning spaces of St. Regis Florence, characterized by unmatched luxury and splendor. The hotel is in fact located inside an historic palace designed by Brunelleschi and its interiors perfectly show the grandeur of Renaissance.
Lacey had seen my previous photos online, so she knew exactly where she wanted the pictures of her wedding day to be shot. We moved to the heart of the city and we used its best spots as a background for gorgeous photographs: the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Vecchio – everything the bride asked for!
