Sophie and Joel’s wedding in Italy
This elegant couple from Australia wished for a classy and traditional Italian wedding, where the landscape would embrace the whole celebration, creating a naturally spectacular frame. That’s why they chose to have their special day in Chianti, together with friends and family.
Right before the ceremony, an unexpected event happened: heavy rain started to pour over Villa il Poggiale, risking to ruin Sophie and Joel’s dreams of a perfect wedding day. But their positive energy worked as a reversed rain dance: the weather went back to normal just in time for the open air ritual – and the suffused and delicate light was actually ideal to take dreamy photos.
The touching ceremony was followed by a poetic couple photo shoot in the vineyards right before sunset and by a fun wedding party in the garden of the Villa. Everyone enjoyed the food, celebration and warm atmosphere – and the bride and groom loved the speeches of their dear friends and family.
